Writing About Building and Selling

I created this blog three months ago and haven’t written a word here. Yeah, I know, there are thousands and thousands of blogs out there started by an eager writer-to-be, and abandoned after a single post or two. And this is what I want to avoid. So I’m writing this post.

I remember how I started my development blog back in 2009, and I’m so glad I did. It opened so many doors in front of me, brought many clients and let me work on so many interesting projects. I can’t imagine how my career would have panned out if I hadn’t started blogging almost twenty years ago.

Now I’m starting this blog, a more personal one, where I won’t be sharing tech tutorials or advertising my dev consulting services. No, this one is different. It’s about building products and navigating the modern web of tools and technologies to achieve a concrete goal: build a product and sell it to people.

While this sounds quite simple, and I would say, even a bit old-fashioned, the goal itself requires a lot of skills, tools and approaches. And this is what I’m planning to write about here.

I want to write about technology, tools, marketing, sales, development and deployments, customer satisfaction, what AI brings to the table and what open-source and commercial tools are worth using. I’m going to share my findings, my struggles and my wins.

Perhaps you’re on the same road as me, or ahead, or behind — anyway, I’m humbled you’ve taken the time to read my thoughts. I hope you find what I share here helpful.

Welcome aboard, and let’s start building and selling!
